I couldn't believe my plane had two levels, like whaaaat?!?!?!

I had a stop at Frankfurt airport, so I decided to have some real, edible food (we all know the "chicken or pasta?" thing at the airplane is nothing nutritious). After walking around for a while I found this cute little place called Deli Bros. that had really nice food!

As soon as I landed at London Heathrow, I looked for the tube station that'd take me to my apartment, the Piccadilly line. I panicked for a bit because I had a very hard time getting my Oyster card for some reason? I blame it on being tired, excited and also pretty scared since I was going to be alone, on my own, for an entire week.

Castletown House Serviced Apartments

That is the name of the apartment I stayed at. I'd rather stay there than in a hotel, because I like to have a fridge and keep my snacks and dinner meals there. I find myself relaxing more in an apartment. The manager of the place is adorable and won't hesitate to help you out with whatever it is you're having trouble or need. The apartment was in really great condition and was super well equiped — I even had a small patio I could walk into from my window! :)

Day 1 — 04/06
British Museum

http://www.britishmuseum.org/
Mon—Sun 10AM–5:30PM // Admission FREE!!
Great Russell St, Bloomsbury, London WC1B 3DG, UK

In my humble opinion, while the entire collection in the museum is AMAZING, Egipt is the most astounding out of them all — it's usually the most packed with people, but it's so worth waiting to be in front of each piece!

PLEASE BE CAUTIOS WHILE LOOKING AT THE FOLLOWING PICTURES. THEY MIGHT IMPRESS SOME OF YOU.

POR FAVOR PRECAUCIÓN AL MIRAR ESTAS FOTOS. PUEDEN LLEGAR A IMPACTARLOS SI SON IMPRESIONABLES.

There was also a Japan exhibition, but my pictures turned out horrible except for this one :(

Shopping at Oxford Street

Unfortunately this is the only picture I took in Oxford Street, because I went crazy shopping there :P

Harry Potter Shop at King's Cross station

For the Potterhead in my heart, this was the first I truly lost it. I couldn't believe my eyes when I walked into the shop and hear the music and I saw all the beloved goods I was going to spend my money on (oh credit card, I'm so NOT sorry!).

Trafalgar Square and National Gallery

ADMISSION FREE! / Daily 10am–6pm
Friday 10am–9pm
Trafalgar Square, London WC2N 5DN

I was surprised by a sudden downpour that day! But as I know London weather can be quite unpredictable, I was fine with that. In fact, a couple hours later by midday it had already cleared and sunlight appeared again!

Irregular Choice

I just HAD to stop by Irregular Choice and finally walk inside one of their stores! As they themselves say, their goal is to stand from the crowd and damn they do their job so damn well! There are multiple stores spread out across the city, but the one I went to was at 35 Carnaby Street, London, London, United Kingdom, W1F 7DP. I apologize in advance for the blurry pictures, but I was so excited I didn't even know where I was focusing at XD.

The beautiful thing about London is that you always find a nice, picturesque corner like this when you least expect them.

Some last words

I didn't believe it as much when I was walking into the apartment, but the first day I went out, took the tube and walked up to the British Museum, I had that "oh my gosh I'm REALLY here" moment that one sooner or later gets when visiting a city for the first time :P I can't believe how brave and confident I've grown to think I couldn't even make a McDonald's order when I was 13!

Overall British Museum is a MUST VISIT for everyone, while National Gallery only if you truly like paintings. The London Transport Museum was the most interactive one I've been to in London and had a really great time getting on the different rides.

The Harry Potter shop at King's Cross was a tad expensive considering the quality of their scarves and T-shirts wasn't the best. The shop at the Warner Bros Tour was much better so if you want some REAL good stuffs, save your money for that one!
